Tempter is brewed for drinkability and balance between malt and hops. We call it a “no coast” or “Colorado-style” IPA. The Simcoe/Amarillo/El Dorado dry hop creates plenty nuance for true hop lovers, but is subtle enough for people who are new to IPAs or just don’t want a bitter bomb. First brewed in 2012 when West Coast IPAs with crazy amounts of bitter hops were big, we took a different approach and made a balanced beer that we could drink more than one of.
